Garlic Bread

This. Is. It. Push aside the main course and fight over the basket of bread.

You will need.
1 Loaf of French Baguette sliced into rounds or ovals from a slight diagonal cut
1 clove garlic sliced in half width-wise so you can grab it by the tip
kosher salt
pepper grinder
EVOO

Toast that bread, one side or both so there is a slight golden brown on it.
Hold a piece of that hot bread with a kitchen towel
Rub one side real good with that garlic clove
Soak that side in EVOO (techniques below)
sprinkle the garlic-oil side of the bread with some fresh cracked pepper and kosher salt

Techniques for soaking.
1. pour the EVOO into a teaspoon and just drizzle it on
2. pour from the bottle, but I don't do this well
3. pour EVOO into a pool onto a small plate and soak that garlic side
