Finding no fruit in my house this morning to add to my hot, multi-grain oatmeal, I added a few sponfulls of grape jelly and mixed well. It added a great balance of flavor and sweetness. I highly recommend that you try it
Update 2012: I am now making it with a large pinch of cinnamon and unsweetened cranberries. These are both boiled with the oatmeal. After it is done, I add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, 1/4 cup raisins, and 1 TBL Maple Syrup. Perfect breakfast.
Was that Nantucket Grape jelly, by any chance? One of the ones I have given you along the way?
